The "In The Cafe With Mocha TV Show"
We read our favorite books, but we rarely know the people behind the pages or the story behind the story. Do we realize the trials and triumphs leading to their success or just as commonly their failure? Through the use of books, In the Café with Mocha raises the awareness, knowledge and pride of African-American culture and the impact it holds in our lives. By bringing the authors into the community, the program presents a unique opportunity for literary awareness and community outreach. Each venue is offered exposure and advertising while also promoting the city’s cultural initiatives.
